Directions
Car
The Belfast test centre is situated in Ormeau House on Ormeau Road, just south of the city centre. Multiple major routes, such as the M1, M2, and M3 motorways, provide easy access to Belfast.
Parking
Limited parking is available at Ormeau House, but additional street parking can be found on McClure Street, nearby the venue. If you're unable to find parking in these areas, consider 18-20 Howard Street Car Park, approximately 500m north of the test centre. The parking fee is an affordable £0.60 per hour, payable in cash or via the RingGo service. Electric vehicle charging is also available here. To get to Ormeau House from the car park, head south on Ormeau Road and the venue will be on your left.
Bus
Several bus routes operate near the test centre. To reach Ormeau House via Belfast's local bus network, aim to disembark at one of these stops: McClure Street, Shaftesbury Avenue, University Avenue, or Gasworks. All are within a five-minute walk to the test venue.
Train
Belfast has four train stations, with Botanic station being the closest to the test centre. Though not one of the major stations, Botanic hosts trains from various parts of Northern Ireland. To reach the venue from Botanic, head south on Botanic Avenue, turn left onto Cameron Street, continue eastward to McClure Street, and finally turn right onto Ormeau Road. The venue will be on your right.
If arriving at one of the larger hubs like Great Victoria Street or Lanyon Place stations, it's advised to go straight to Ormeau House rather than catching a connecting train to Botanic, to save time. For real-time train information, check the Translink NI Railways website.
