Located on the second floor in Suite 14/15, the test area is easily found via the Kings Court entrance on Old Bank Street. Note that signs may highlight Sama Restaurant from King Street. If coming from the train station, you'll pass Farmfoods before reaching the site. As Kings Court houses multiple businesses and meeting rooms, please arrive early to find the right suite, especially if taking the Life in the UK Test.

The Life in the UK test venue in Blackburn is situated at Kings Court on King Street, close to the western outskirts of the town centre. The centre is accessible via the M65 motorway and connecting routes like the A666 and A678. Although the address is King Street, the entrance to the Kings Court building is on Old Bank Street.


Parking Options:


  • Heaton Street: Limited on-street parking directly outside the building, no guarantee of availability.

  • King Street: Closest convenient parking with a two-hour ticket costing £2.10. Both card and cash payments are accepted at parking machines.

Bus 


Several local bus routes pass near the test centre. Ideal bus stops to aim for include:


  • Harrison Street

  • Blackburn College

  • Barton Street


All these stops are within a five-minute walk to Old Bank Street, where the test centre is located.



Train 


The Blackburn Train Station is approximately 650m east of the venue. To reach the test centre:


  1. Head west through the main shopping district.

  2. Merge onto Darwen Street.

  3. Continue west onto King Street.

  4. Proceed to the test venue on Old Bank Street.
