Directions

Car

The Aberdeen test centre is situated in the North East Scotland College building on Loch Street, slightly northwest of the city centre. If you're coming from west of Aberdeen, navigate your way to the city using the A96. For those arriving from the north or south, the A90 offers smooth connectivity towards the city centre.

Parking

Limited on-street parking is available on Loch Street, so it's not guaranteed you'll find a space on the day of your test. We recommend exploring other parking options beforehand. For local parking information, you can check the appropriate Parkopedia page.

We suggest considering West North Street for parking, which is just 500m northeast from the college building. A two-hour parking ticket costs £2.40 and should provide you with enough time to find the venue, take your test, and return to your car. Payments can be made in cash or via the PayByPhone service. Facilities for disabled parking and electric vehicle charging are also available here.

Bus

Multiple bus routes pass near the test centre. Ideally, opt for a bus service that stops at Seamount Road, Bon Accord Centre, or Nelson Street, as they are all within a five-minute walk to Loch Street. To tailor your travel plans, click on the given link for Aberdeen's local bus network.

Train

Aberdeen Train Station is roughly a kilometre south of the college campus and offers links to various locations across Scotland and the UK. While there are buses that can take you closer to the venue, due to the walking involved between the station and bus stops, we recommend completing the remaining journey on foot. To reach the test centre, head north on the B983, cut through the city centre via Back Wynd and Harrier Street, and then join Loch Street. Head straight at the roundabout and continue until you reach the venue, which will be on your right.

For real-time train schedules and other information, check the ScotRail website.
